Why use a mortgage broker instead of a bank, Credit Union or go to the mortgage company? Why pay additional fees?"

There are no additional broker fees, and a broker works for you within the cost structure of a loan in which you would go to ‘directly’. Also know Qualfirst Mortgage is focused on your loan and is not into other businesses and services. Most mortgage companies, credit union or banks work by strict policies in their service which a brokerage is not limited by. Basically; you are going to sit on hold or wonder what’s going on with your loan.
Qualfirst Mortgage can deliver the better rates and better service because we aren’t paying for large brick and glass buildings and having corporate meetings. Plus; we have closed more loans with our experience than most can even think about.

What if I am concerned about my low credit score, or have poor credit?"

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily a problem. Qualifrst Mortgage has a relationship with their credit report provider to address any errors or updates to maximize your credit score, and sometimes a poor credit report is brought to an acceptable level. We are experts at ensuring your credit is presented at its best.
In addition; we have loan programs to work with questionable credit and low credit scores.

Question 4

Where can I look for a home to purchase and your company still assist me?

Accepted Answer

For now; we are only licensed and located in South Carolina. We can go to any city, any county in South Carolina.

What kind of homes can I finance through you?

Accepted Answer

We can do any sort of single‐family homes, modular homes, 2‐4 unit homes, townhomes, and condominiums. We can even do apartment buildings for investors up to 35 units, and condotels.

Question 6

I do not have much money saved right now. How much is the minimum to put down, and how much should I plan to save?"

Accepted Answer

This will depend on what you want and how you wish to reduce your costs. In many cases, such as with our USDA product; you may not have to put any money down.
 
Putting 20% down will save you from additional monthly costs such as mortgage insurance or guarantee fees. However; those costs are reasonable.

Who are your Government regulatory agencies, and are you owned by any other entity?"

We are registered as a Mortgage Broker on the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). Our number for your reference is #1836571. Our loan officers are also registered within the NMLS system. Both Qualfirst Mortgage, and your loan officer are licensed by the State of South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs,. We are in good standing at the State and Federal level and have no registered complaints, nor are we a party to any lawsuit.
